| Jungle Drum Craft |
Make individual drums out of empty oatmeal containers. This craft can also double as a carrier for the kids to take smaller items home - just don't tape the lid at the top.
Supplies:
- Empty Oatmeal Container (wipe inside clean)
- Brown or white paper cut 7 1/8" x 13" **
- Masking tape or glue
- Markers or crayons
Instructions: Use masking tape around the top to secure the lid to the drum (if you want the drum to double as a container, skip this step). Cut the paper to size and either glue or tape it to the drum. Let the kids decorate the drums. It might be easier for the kids if you have them decorate the paper first and then adhere it to the drum. Either way will work.
** I used a generic brand of oatmeal container, measure to be sure the size is the same and adjust if necessary.
